For many years, YWAM Next Step has served numerous YWAM locations worldwide by developing practical programs. Now, through the power of AI-assisted coding, we are rapidly building a comprehensive suite of tools designed to address the wide range of needs within YWAM. We have already invested years in understanding the precise functionality these programs should deliver. As a result, we are currently developing at an accelerated pace—equivalent to approximately one year of conventional progress per day of work.
We are excited about what we have accomplished so far and remain committed to its continued development. This solution is completely free to use. We even have a YWAMer BAM for free website hosting options.

We are designing this platform from the ground up to be fully functional on mobile devices. Our vision is that an entire YWAM location could operate efficiently with staff using only their phones.
We recognize that many YWAM locations worldwide do not have access to a computer for every staff member or role. It is therefore important to us that any YWAM location in need can provide its staff with powerful, accessible tools. This solution is intended for all of YWAM.
Free is good! And we are free. Available to all is even better. We are making this better.
Planning
While this may appear technical at first glance, the core concept is to assist in planning what needs to be done—much like planning a DTS. We are developing our program to support shareable plans. This means that when we create a detailed plan for DTS staff to launch a new DTS, the plan can be easily exported and shared with other YWAM locations for their use.
Why should we continue to reinvent processes when only minor adjustments may be required?
Calendars that show it all
A common challenge faced by many YWAM locations is effectively communicating and sharing events, meetings, and tasks for teams and individuals. When all activities are centralized in one place, this challenge becomes easy to resolve.
Our calendars display community events, team events, personal events, and personal tasks—all integrated into a single, user-specific interface that presents information in the user’s preferred language.
Integrations with your Google Workspace or MS 365
We can help you get your free Google Workspace and Free MS 365 accounts, if you don’t have one. Then, we connect everything and you have your calendar, tasks, and emails all integrated and working together. Make a change in YWAM Base, see it on your Google Calendar. Make a change in Google, see it in YWAM Base as well.
Avoid having to use multiple programs
Even without Google or Microsoft accounts (or with them), avoid having to switch between multiple program. Manage your email from Google (or Microsoft) from INSIDE our program, but then get added features like standard replies, add-in common text, and even use templates to make your emails more beautiful like the newsletters.
School registration that integrate with your accounting
Most accounting software solutions allow for direct connections. We are actively developing and implementing integrations so that expenses and income can be viewed immediately across all relevant areas within a YWAM location.
Our widget-based development approach enables users to customize the program according to their specific workflows. Users can select individual widgets, determine their placement, and adjust their size and color. The program then handles the rest.
FORMS!!!! Finally solved
We find it surprising how something as simple as a form can cause so much difficulty. It is just a form!
We have a unique and simple approach to designing, editing and managing your forms. The good part is, most of them are used INSIDE the program. Rather than having everyone fill out forms on your website, we quickly bring them in as a registered user to fill out their forms, see the their status, see any invoices/deposits and even click to pay online with your accounting integration. Keeping the forms where only logged in user can reach them makes everything easier and more secure.
Scheduling
Scheduling is a significant responsibility within YWAM, encompassing hospitality, volunteers, work duties, kitchen meals, transportation, and many other activities. Our powerful scheduling program is designed to address all these requirements and any additional needs your location may have.
Featuring an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, automated notifications to requestors, robust validation processes, and comprehensive control over settings, we are developing a single, flexible scheduling solution capable of meeting the diverse needs of YWAM locations worldwide.

Since we are not restricted by seat license costs or driven by the need to generate revenue from this platform, we have chosen to make key features available at all levels.

Chats, Stick notes, notifications between all devices
Communication is essential.
We have integrated the ability for individual users to create and access sticky notes across both their computer and mobile device. Our chat functionality works seamlessly between mobile devices and computers with no app required (compatible with Android devices from 2015 onward and iPhone 8 or newer). Notifications can be sent instantly to everyone, to a specific group, to staff members, or to an individual. Recipients can even respond with a single-button reply. Full conversation history is saved, and users can switch effortlessly between devices.
For All languages
This is not browser-based translation. The language is defined by the user’s location or through a shared language file from another YWAM location.
Imagine a receptionist working in one language sending an instant notification to a staff member in a different language—one the receptionist does not speak—asking whether they are available. The reply returns automatically in the recipient’s preferred language. Everyone uses the platform in their own language.
Speech To Text
Let’s be honest, writing in the language of a YWAM location is not easy for everyone…even if you are in your native country. Since we are international and have staff from around the world, they can use the whole program in their native tongue and have the site convert their speech into text for them.
Let’s take away the fear and embarrassment of misspelling a word or dependence on voice messages for everything. Let the AI translate your voice into the right word….most of the time 😉 If your location wants, your chats store the audio as well.
This works for chats, announcements, emails, newsletters, and most anywhere want to be type words. Not all languages and dialects and accents will work equally, but this should be a good step in the right direction.
